New York City, NY. Wednesday, November 9, 2022. In a show of incredible musical stamina, Rich Homie Quan, releases the visuals for “Dark Shades,” a standout track off the Atlanta native’s latest project, Family & Mula, released via Venice Music. Directed by “Krazy” music video director Zac Facts, the video takes place in Quan’s walk-in closet where he tries on sunglasses, metaphorically conveying how he’s been able to block out the noise throughout his career.
Today, Quan also announces the release of Family & Mula Reloaded, out November 18. The extended project will include seven additional tracks that are as contemplative and melodic as the original tracklist.
Last month, the “Krazy” rapper dropped his highly anticipated and much-lauded project, Family & Mula. It debuted at #2on Apple Music Hip Hop/Rap chart and has since amassed over 15M streams. Quan also released visuals for the reflective cut “Kno No More,” which saw him reunite with Marcell JB, who also directed “Risk Takers.” The video, shot locally, starts with Quan playing the first few bars of the track on the piano. Much of the video takes place in and outside Quan’s Atlanta home, mirroring the song’s theme, an intimate look into the mind of Rich Homie Quan. With the momentum in full swing, fans were gifted visuals for “Another One.” The fun and catchy hook, with the backdrop of a candy shop of sorts, celebrates abundance.
