FREE EVENT WILL FEATURE COMPLIMENTARY MUSEUM ADMISSION, DANCE PERFORMANCES, ARTS ACTIVITES, A SPECIAL SCREENING OF ENCANTO, AND MORE

CLEVELAND, MISS. (OCT. 20, 2022) — GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi will host a free Latin Music Family Day event on Sunday, Nov. 6, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature free admission to GRAMMY Museum Mississippi, arts activities hosted by the Delta Arts Alliance, special dance performances, and a screening of the Disney film Encanto at 2 p.m. Food vendors will also be onsite with snacks and beverages for purchase.
“We are so excited to bring our community together for a free Latin Music Family Day event at the Museum,” said Emily Havens, Executive Director of GRAMMY Museum Mississippi. “It’s going to be a great day of food, music, and celebration, and we can’t wait to see everyone here for it. It’s important to us that we continue to spotlight different genres and cultures through music, so we are thrilled to be placing the spotlight on the Latin music community with this event.”
The schedule of events for the free Latin Music Family Day event is below.
12 p.m.–3 p.m.: Free admission to GRAMMY Museum Mississippi, dance performances and arts activities hosted by the Delta Arts Alliance. Food vendors will be available onsite.
1:30 p.m.: Community Dance Performances
2 p.m.: Screening of Encanto
