COVID-19 regular vaccines, boosters: Jackson State University offering Pfizer and Moderna for children ages 5-11

(JACKSON, Miss.) — Jackson State University will provide free Pfizer and Moderna regular vaccines and boosters to students, faculty, staff and community members from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 at One University Place, Suite 6, 1100 John R. Lynch Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39217. Also, the vaccine and booster will be available for children ages 5-11. 

The Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center is providing the regular vaccinations and boosters.

Insurance is not needed, and vaccines are provided at no cost by the Mississippi State Department of Health. Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center is one of two Federally Qualified Health Centers in Mississippi designated as a federally approved vaccination site.
