CELEBRATES THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF
PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL RECORDS

(Franklin, TN – December 3, 2021) Your new favorite girl band, The Shidellas, kicked off the holiday season as part of the 2021 “CMA Country Christmas” that aired on ABC. Performing their Christmas staple “What Does Christmas Mean” with country star Jimmie Allen and labelmates Louis York, the ladies jammed to this infectious holiday standard. Hosted by Gabby Barrett and Carly Pearce, the show also featured Carrie Underwood, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Pistol Annies, Brett Eldredge, and Breland. Viewers can check out the show on Hulu.

The Shindellas had the honor of paying tribute to musical icons Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff as part of Toyota’s “The Soundtrack of Soul.” The event served as a collective pause to acknowledge two prolific music pioneers and their life’s work in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Philadelphia International Records (PIR). The Shindellas performed the legends iconic song “Love Train” by The O’Jays as well as “Reconsider,” “Happy to See You,” and “Lullaby” off their debut album Hits That Stick Like Grits.
