Election Runoff: Hinds County Sheriff’s candidates Crisler, Jones will duel in debate at Jackson State University

(JACKSON, Miss.) — Jackson State University’s Department of Political Science in the College of Liberal Arts will host a runoff debate between Hinds County Sheriff’s candidates Tyree Jones and Marshand Crisler. The event is scheduled at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, in the FD Hall Music Center Recital Hall.

Why: The debate will provide a forum for runoff candidates to address pressing issues such as safety, crime, violence and community relations. The runoff election will be Nov. 23.
