Jackson State University’s New COVID-19 Vaccination Site TODAY, Aug. 17: One University Place, Suite 6 (Formerly the Penguin)

(JACKSON, Miss.) — COVID-19 vaccinations will be available to students, faculty, staff and community members from noon to 4 p.m. TODAY, Aug. 17, in Jackson State University’s new vaccination site: “One University Place, Suite 6 (formerly known as the Penguin), 1100 John R. Lynch Street, Jackson, MS 39217.

The Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center will be offering Moderna and Pfizer vaccinations.

Insurance is not needed, and vaccines are provided at no cost by the Mississippi State Department of Health. Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center is one of two Federally Qualified Health Centers in Mississippi designated as a federally approved vaccination site.
