Los Angeles, CA (August 21, 2020) – Miami native David Lyn is bringing a different type of energy to his listeners, contrary to his racially charged single “Can’t Breathe.” Displaying his distinct, diverse talent David Lyn releases his new steamy jam for the ladies “4AM”produced by Bassto (Koffee’s “W”, Jorja Smith “Be Honest”), accompanied with a vibrant and splashy video. Delivering pulsating trap-style beats paired with not so subtle lyrics and a reggae flare, David Lyn outlines how it all goes down in the wee hours of the night. In the midst of an “entanglement” culture “4AM” is the player’s handbook on how to navigate.

“Girl this ain’t no friend zone, and this ain’t no date. We can be entangled every single way. Say she want fi take it to the condo.”

Activist and R&B singer/songwriter David Lyn made his commercial breakthrough with his debut single “Can’t Breathe” this summer which resonated among black and brown listeners across the country. Discussing social and racial injustice on this heartfelt single, David Lyn has earned himself the proper recognition for his years of hard work behind the scenes to now being featured on Ebro’s Discovered on Apple Music playlist, shining a spotlight on “Can’t Breathe.”

As he gears up for the release of his debut EP “Any Day Now” due out this fall, fans can expect to be taken on a ride through Lyn’s creative mind with more captivating, storytelling music and visuals.
