Download “Bottom” HERE
(Thursday, October 24 – Atlanta, GA) – This week, emerging hip hop artist Spade Melo released the visuals for his follow up single “Bottom” off his debut EP Aces High which is set to release this fall. “Bottom” comes on the heels of Spade’s well received debut single “Derrick Rose” which is also featured on Apple Music’s The New South playlist. Both songs showcase the grit and versatility Melo has mastered over the years.
Gritty yet sultry, Melo’s musical style seamlessly blends hip hop and trap with a touch of r&b and soul. His voice is simply undeniable, even as he raps about his humble beginnings or serenading a young woman with trap lyrics. The visuals for “Bottom” take you on a nostalgic joyride down memory lane of Spade Melo’s neighborhood and friends. It brilliantly showcases the oxymoron of being a man from the “bottom” (his hood) rocking “red bottoms” (Louboutin). It’s not hard to relate.
Aces High Tracklist:

7. It’s Mine (ft Sumerella)

ABOUT SPADE MELO
Authentic, versatile and charismatic are just a few of the adjectives that can be used to describe Atmore, AL native Spade Melo.Like the card game from which he adopted the former part of his rap moniker, he’s easy to learn but hard to master. Additionally, it is widely known that the trump card in Spades is always the winning card as is the life of Spade Melo , a straightforward and natural born leader who dominates at every turn. Spade Melo was raised on a variety of artists, yet he only counts Snoop Dog (his coolness), Tupac (his realness) and Eminem (his lyricism) as inspirations, all of whom helped shape his own style. A gifted storyteller with cinematic attention to detail, his narrative is always rooted in his own personal reality that either stimulates the mind or stirs up the madness. Despite releasing a handful of songs in the past that put him on the map and afforded him the opportunity to open for notable acts such as Jeezy, YFN Lucci, Young Thug and Young Scooter, Aces High is the official debut.
