I would have to say that this is one of the best Grammy shows I have seen in a long time. There were so many amazing moments throughout the show… from Chance The Rapper to Beyoncé to Bruno Mars to even the speech Adele gave to acknowledge the work of Beyoncé. Those performances gave me chills.
Let’s start with the Queen Bey, Beyoncé!

I can’t stress this enough how everyone knows that I have been down with the Beyhive, but last night I almost cried. Beyoncé gave us life in that performance and through those visuals in the beginning. A lot of people didn’t understand exactly what those visuals were, so they chose to say negative things about her performance. And as always, you know once you come for the Queen, the bees are ready to sting.
Even while she’s pregnant, she still gave an amazing performance. She just looked so beautiful and so gracious. Her acceptance speech was even more beautiful. By the way, did you see how HUGE she was? Bey, are you sure you’re going to make it to Coachella in April?
Do you want to talk about another amazing performance? Let’s talk about Bruno Mars. Listen, Bruno has to be one of the most underrated artists of today. He has been out for a long time, but his work seems to go unnoticed. For him to be so talented, I don’t see how! I love the new style of music he does now.
Did you not see his Prince tribute? That was so mind blowing until I had to stop what I was doing just to watch him.

The Grammys was Chance The Rapper’s night. He took home three out of seven Grammys and left us with a remarkable performance.

Chance The Rapper really made history last night by being the first black hip hop artist since Lauryn Hill in 1999 to win Best New Artist at the Grammys. His music is so metaphoric that it inspires you, along with other artists like J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. I would love to see those three collaborate on an album or even a mixtape. I believe it would be really dope.
Lastly, Adele took home the most awards of the night. She had a wonderful opening. During her closing speech at the end of the show, Adele stated that Beyoncé really deserved Album of the Year. A lot of people were upset that she did win that award because they felt that Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” was more powerful than Adele’s “25“. Even Adele felt that way herself!

This was probably the second best moment of the night. It made me want to cry too.
