SPOTLIGHT: D’Onna Manning Wins the 2016 Southern Laced Dance Award

“Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

-Psalms 16:11-

The 2016 Southern Laced Dance Award was created to honor a dancer or choreographer who has inspired and influenced communities through the field of arts. Today, we are happy to introduce you to our first recipient, D’Onna Manning.

D’Onna Manning is a 17-year-old senior at Brandon High School. She has been doing ballet for four years.

“I am now going into my third year dancing with Ballet Magnificat! I am an apprentice in the Magnificat! Youth Ballet company there. I get to travel with them and perform at nursing homes, churches, and events.” says D’Onna. “God continues to bless me every day. He has given me so many opportunities to share my talents with everyone and I am very thankful.”
