A: I have been singing since I was 5 years old. When I was in the 8th grade, I started dabbling around with poetry, songs and lyrics. Believe it or not, I just started modeling in January.

Q:What experience do you have with modeling?

A: In the past, I have participated in a lot of fashion shows…Rock the Runway during Mississippi Fashion Week. Fashion shows have helped build my portfolio and network.

Q: Are you planning to pursue modeling or singing full-time?

A: Fashion is a part of everything. In regards to creativity, I can be a model and a singer.

Q: Have you faced any obstacles on your singing and modeling journey?

A: When I was 18 years old, I lived in my car. During that time, I was still happy because naturally… I have a good spirit.

I’ve never been driven by money. I’m motivated by fashion.

Q: Do you have any advice for anyone considering a singing or modeling career?

A: (1)Time is persistent. People are persistent. You can’t get back time.

(2)Just because one person says no…that doesn’t mean stop. You can only go as far as you’re determined to go.

(3)No matter how much you struggle, you won’t struggle for long.

Q: What motivates you to keep going?

A: I know that there is a purpose. I have a strong sense of purpose. The way I think… I just know something big is about to happen. In a previous conversation, someone told me that sometimes it can be something good is about to happen… not necessarily what you want to happen. But it just might be better.

Q: What’s next for you?

A: I’m hungry for “it”. Being from Mississippi and moving to a new city, I’m like ready to do this!  Anything is possible. If plan A doesn’t work out, then I have a plan B.
