Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I am from Mississippi Gulf Coast, graduated from Ocean Springs and currently reside in Biloxi.
How did you meet?
Heath and I met through mutual friends. We were good friends at first, and then started dating.
Describe the moment you knew you belonged together?
Heath and I evacuated together for Hurricane Katrina with a large group of friends and family. It was a difficult time, but also a time of closeness and security. We leaned on each other alot during this time.
If we could make it through that, we can withstand anything!
What makes your relationship work?
Lots and lots of conversations. We talk about everything. We are each other’s best friend and we just make it work. We also attend church as a family and believe that God is the foundation of our family.
What’s your favorite thing about each other?
I love that Heath is the best dad to our children. He shows them a love I never knew existed.
Tell us about your funniest moment together.
Funniest moment was when we found out we were having twins. We had been married for 6 months and I found out I was pregnant and I was terrified.… thought it was with one baby.
When we found out we were having twins, my hubby said, “What’s one more…” He was so calm about it. He is the best dad to our kids.
