Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? Where do you live now?
My name is Jeaninne Morrow. I am from Fulton, Mississippi. My husband, Brian Morrow is from Brandon, Mississippi. We live in Brandon, Mississippi.
How did you meet?
College…Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Describe the moment you knew you belonged together?
I liked Brian (BC) from the first time I saw him. He wasn’t like the other guys at the school. His shirt was tucked in and he didn’t hang out with anyone too much. He was very quiet. I didn’t see him much during first semester, but we had a class (Western Civilization) together second semester. On the first day of class, I didn’t see any familiar faces. As I watched people come into class, I saw him! He didn’t know I had a crush on him at the time. He came and sat right beside me! I couldn’t believe it! Western Civilization was a very hard class so we decided to go to Dodge’s which was located across the street from the college so that we could study. I think we arrived around 9:00 p.m. or 10:00 p.m. that night and didn’t go back to our rooms until around 3:00 a.m. We didn’t get any studying done but that’s where it all started!
What makes your relationship work?
We ARE a team! Most people don’t believe in the “old fashioned” way of living with their spouse. We choose to do everything as a family. We also keep our lines of communication open because it is important to talk to each other if we don’t agree on something rather than going to our friends and family members. Long story short, WE KEEP OTHERS OUT OF OUR BUSINESS!
What’s your favorite thing about each other?
I LOVE that my husband is a hard working man that always makes time for his family! He holds four jobs and is in college. He’s working right now so I’ll have to come back with an answer to his favorite thing about me! Lol!
Follow-up:
The thing he likes about me the most is that I am very dependable and flexible in each aspect of our marriage. Flexibility is huge especially when one is married to a very busy spouse. Plans change daily and one shouldn’t get upset when plans aren’t followed through. Our marriage works best when we’re on the same page and work together!
Tell us about your funniest moment together.
Well, anytime he decides to chase me is hilarious! The reason being is because I can run pretty fast until I start laughing! Lol! Once I start laughing it’s over with! He wins every time!
